The Innovative Consultants: Social Media Internship

Job Description: Hands-on internship with the opportunity to work in fun office environment in sunny Delray Beach, FL or virtually, depending on availability.

Learn the ins and outs of online marketing, including:

• Social Media Monitoring
• Content Creation for Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, Pinterest and other social media outlets
• Online Public Relations: Writing Press Releases and Blogger Outreach for brands
• Execute successful Facebook ads and other online advertisements
• Perform online research for clients
• List building for blogger outreach and promotion
• Social Media Reporting and Google Analytics tracking
• Contribute to social media and online marketing plans and strategies
• Increase brand awareness, fan engagement, and grow social network following for clients: retail, ecommerce, authors, health professionals and other small businesses

Title: Social Media Intern

Duration: Now through Spring Semester with opportunity for employment upon internship completion

Time commitment: 10-20 hours/week (flexible hours)

Compensation: For credit only. Mostly work from home or locally in office - Delray Beach, FL.  Additional benefits and perks to be discussed.

Desired Candidate Traits:

• Motivated self starter
• Creative ‘out of the box’ thinking
• Strong attention to detail in written communications
• Familiar with new web tools and using social media for business
• Eager to learn more about social media marketing, online public relations, email marketing, and other internet marketing tactics
• Currently studying marketing, communications/public relations, journalism, English, or business related fields
• Strong communication and previous internship experience a plus
