Full-time Position (listing # 1):

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Specialist, Web Marketing is responsible for leading the development efforts for the GoCCL.com portal including expanding the site, driving users to the site and ensuring content is always relevant and up-to-date.  This includes interacting with other commercial groups and playing a critical role in the development of site campaigns and promotions.

Responsibilities include:
·         Responsible for the day-to-day content of GoCCL including postings, banners, ticker, News and Alerts, etc…to support ongoing and new program launches that maximize profitability through travel agent sales channel. 
·          Executes changes to GoCCL based on business dynamic and needs. Identifies and develops effective product content, optimizing online navigation of GoCCL, maintaining clean and well merchandised web pages.
·         Manages all aspects of the social media strategy, including business plan and execution while leveraging on the most productive tools and forums to post information and create online Travel Agent Carnival community.   
·          Analyses and updates product placement on site and social media tools to maximize conversion and sales.
·         Responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of all site content and appropriate owners and establishing a regular content audit and update schedule. 
·         Maintains an accurate 3 month development/promotional calendar for site and social media development and merchandising. Utilizes calendar to forecast assigned business and resource requirements.
·         Project Manage on-time/on-budget implementations of all GoCCL portal enhancements through effective partnership with Marketing and other members of Trade Engagement & Communication team
·         When required, represents portal development in GoCCL (SCRUM) prioritization sessions to ensure proper calendarization of key initiatives including site content and booking engine.
·         Partners with technology teams and external vendors to enhance functionality.
·         Create robust metrics and reporting tools to measure key aspects of GoCCL and social media performance
·          Support of GoCCL.com booking engine projects to support sales team as needed may be required.
 Additional ad hoc web support projects as requested by leader may be requested.
Requirements:
·         Bachelor’s degree in marketing, online media or technology-related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
·         2+ years of direct web experience managing website, web content and extremely current with social media trends and mediums. 
·         Web knowledge is a must. HTML and CSS coding is required, while other programming and coding backgrounds are helpful.
·         Proven knowledge of creation, editing and/or file conversion of image files via Photoshop is essential
·         Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and focus on detailed projects for extended periods of time.
·         Proof of managing cross-functional projects is a must.
·         High level of PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills needed.
·         Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with diverse professionals are a must.
·         Must be flexible and comfortable with changes in direction. 
·         Comfortable working occasional weekend/evening hours to meet trade audience needs (<5% time)

Last year with your help we were able to find an intern who proved to be wonderful.  She is now a full time employee. Once again we have a need for another intern, it would be great if you could share this job opportunity with you mailing list. Please find attached a complete job description.
Ideally, we are talking about an intern (4 days a week) or 3/4 times. The internship would need to be at least for 6 months, one year is better. Possibility to be hired if the candidate is great after a certain time. We offer: a great environment, within a fun, casual, and fast growing company
